Rule Of Three

I tried to use the rule of three to guide the viewer’s eye to the exact point i wanted it to go. On two of them it was the screw and the other two were specific knots that I made sure were in focus and in the spaces of the rule of three.

Emphasis

On these I emphasized on certain focal points I found interesting. I focused on the tape pealing and its symmetry also the screw in the middle of plastic and crossing strings. Finally I focused on the logos and brand names found on the stick.

I used the texture of the mesh of the lacrosse stick to make it look more realistic. Also, in the last image I used one of the holes in the mesh to focus on the logo of the stick in the back to do a frame in frame emphasis of the brand. The textures of the smooth plastic and the rough mesh look well together I thought. Through all the different angles, texture and patterns the mesh of the stick had millions of ways of looking at it and seeing it from a different point of view.
